Milo Cup Success
Well done on a great Term One of Cricket! On Wednesday they defeated Morrinsville Intermediate and Aquinas College, two convincing victories. Mr Jeftha, Mr Hampton and the boys have had some outstanding results winning 5 from 5 to progress to the next stage of the competition. Jamie Oakley and his 101 not out was a highlight of the season against Bethlehem College. Term 4 will see the next stage of their competition kick off and we wish them all the best. PB/BOP Swimming Champions 2011
Well done to our PB/BOP Swimming Team who held off a strong Otumoetai Intermediate challenge to be crowned the Poverty Bay / Bay of Plenty Swimming Champions for 2011. A great team effort from our 24 students managed by Mrs Karen Hampton travelled to Rotorua on Friday 25 March and were greeted by cool conditions swimming in the open air 50m pool. Stand out performances for the school were a haul of 5 golds by Hamish Gilmour, 3 golds by George Williams and our relay teams winning 6 out of the 8 relays. Relay and overall team results were:

Success at the Ironkid
Well done to our many students who competed at the Ironkid Duathlon on Friday 18 March. Congratulations to Kennedy Crowther and Kaylee Mudgeway who finished 1st & 3rd respectively in the Year 7 Girls Event. In this event they were required to run 750m, 5km bike, 1.5km run! A huge effort by these girls and an outstanding achievement. We look forward to following your results in 2011.

WESTERN BAY OF PLENTY TENNIS CHAMPIONS
Congratulations to our 24 strong team who travelled to Gordon Spratt Reserve (Papamoa) and took out the WBOP Tennis Champions. We are very proud of your efforts. A huge thank you to our parents who transported and supported our students, you are fantastic! Thank you to Mrs Hampton and Mrs Vicki Semple (Tournament Organisers).
