Touch Champions in 2011
On Friday 1 April our 4 Touch Teams travelled to Kawerau Intermediate to defend their Poverty Bay/Bay of Plenty Touch title. This term the teams have trained up to 3 times a week under the guidance of Matua Atirau (Girls Teams) & Matua Grant (boys). A comment from all players was that the standard of play on the day from all teams has increased. The results for our teams this year were:
1st Year 8 Boys
1st Year 8 Girls
2nd Year 7 Girls
Thank you to the many parents who transported our teams to Kawerau and Matua Atirau & Matua Grant for all their hard work preparing the teams. Another trophy in the cabinet!
