Hi all

The 9th NZCT AIMS GAMES Cross Country Championships were held at Waipuna Park, Tauranga today. A huge thank you to all runners, officials and supporters for making the day so spectacular. A large crowd came along to support, creating a wonderful atmosphere.

Congratulations to the Samuel Tanner, competing in the Division 1 Boys race representing Tahatai Coast School Papamoa for setting a new race record today. His time of 10 minutes 35 seconds beat the previous time set by Isiah Priddey (Peachgrove Intermediate Hamilton - 10.46 in 2011).

Huge congratulations to the medal winners. Attached are a full set of results (please click on tabs at the bottom of the spread sheet to bring up each year/gender/event). Individual, Teams Race and Relay place getters were presented with their medals at the cross country venue today, we encourage you to wear your medals with pride and be proud of your amazing achievement.

Congratulations to Tauranga Intermediate for taking out the School Championship 12km Relay.
